Redo & Sleep Hygiene
I have misplaced a recent excerpt that I wrote for Werbel. It should be easy enough to recreate, but I needed to vent a bit to get it off my mind.
Even so, it's never fun redoing something you already did. Washing dishes are okay for example since their whole purpose is to be used, to be dirtied so that your furniture can stay clean. Washing laundry makes sense. Actually, I'm having trouble finding something that doesn't require attention repeatedly. I suppose directions are an example: everything that you need to know is already written right here. Subsequently, it's frustrating when one must explain something to a person that has been written down in great detail.
It's like a childhood memory that you can't recreate. You can go back to the same spot at the same time of year maybe even with the same people, but it will never be the same. It's not quite like that though, but perhaps it is. I was going to say it's not like that because - when you rewrite something you already wrote - there's a high chance that you write it even better than before. Then I imagined that childhood memory-locations, if approached with a wise heart, can be refashioned with even more gladness and nostalgia.

In any case, I'm over it. I'm mostly tired. It's always time for a nap. I have bad sleeping habits. I recently heard the phrase "sleeping hygiene." I know exactly what it means, and I have bad sleeping hygiene. No, "sleeping hygiene" does not mean I go to bed covered in dirt. Sleeping hygiene concerns itself with how much metaphysical clutter is or is not present when you go to sleep. Having a lot of light that shines through your window(s) is bad sleep hygiene. Check. Looking at screens before or as you're going to bed is bad sleep hygiene. Check. Going to bed late is poor sleep hygiene. Check. Etc. Check.
Goodnight.
But jk.
I'm going to write some Werbely stuff.
