Feelings about Warcraft
It feels like such a long time since I last wrote for Meadowvale. I believe it was only last Wednesday, but Meadowvale feels so far away. However, I do measure time by the amount of emotional energy spent — joules specifically, or kilojoules more commonly in my case — and I did spend a lot of energy these past few days.
Even then, I never write nearly enough. There are too many possible reasons for why I don't write enough, but I wouldn't know enough to identify the magnitude of each. The moral of the story is that I want to write all the time, and I might even need to write nearly all of the time. Baby steps. Baby steps.

In other news, Starbucks is amazingly cold like a warm freezer. I'm not sure what they're trying to refrigerate, but I brought a long sleeve shirt on this relatively warm, summer day.
Debt is such a funny concept, but I'm not going there today.
Admittedly, Warcraft the movie wasn't as fantastic as I had hoped it would be. Still, they delivered the misunderstood struggle of the orc culture well enough to pull a few heartstrings. Durotan was honorable and charming. I do hope they make a second and a third movie. I know they're just grand money siphons, but there are some stories, some themes I just can't resist. It definitely doesn't hurt that Warcraft is a large chunk of my childhood. I have too many fond memories of Warcraft 2 especially. Warcraft 1 was rudimentary. Warcraft 3 was flashy. World of Warcraft was consuming (and expensive). Warcraft 2, though, was like a perfectly aged wine, replete with such a span of flavors that you're always trying to guess at what makes it so delicious, but each new discovery leads you in another direction. Sigh.
As always, there are too many thoughts, but I'm off to go see what's happening in Meadowvale.
