Videos and Literature
Today has been great!
I wrote to a lot of schools that said they don't have tutor lists for parents anymore. I have decided I will politely pester their people until something productive happens.
Besides that, I have begun writing an article about "Live Well. Laugh Often. Love Much." I have always hated those trite phrases, but I decided to make a proper analysis as well as offer some worthy alternatives.
Oh, snap! I have to write so many things.
My main (new) objective for this week is to make one video. Partially, I've been pulling my thoughts together. Mostly I think, I've been stalling. I wouldn't quite say I'm camera-shy, but it's a large set of new tasks I haven't tried yet: recording, editing, dealing with sound, finding good lighting, securing a good location, making it accessible, working with subtitles, etc.
I imagine I'll write my talk word-for-word; that'll make subtitles so much easier. So many things.
In other news, I'm on the verge of returning to Meadowvale! But even then, I'm also excited about Michael! I just posted chapter 20 for Michael. I had been away from him for a few days since I was busy with odds and ends. I reread the chapter, and it was really very enjoyable. I know I have to go back and edit the first many chapters to improve Michael's character, but, on the whole, it's a charming story with vivid, inviting imagery.
Time to go though.
Peace out!
