Junia

Romans 16:7

NIV: "Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews who have been in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was."

So Junia was an apostle, right? That means women were apostles, right? That means women can be pastors, right?

No, you proof-texting nitwit, it's just a phraseology issue in the version.

ESV: "Greet Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen and my fellow prisoners. They are well known to the apostles, and they were in Christ before me."

At the very least, argue from an original language. However, slap-happy proof-texting is very childish.

Please stop it.
