After a Sinus Infection
Dude, dawg. It has been forever since I've written—on my blog anyway. Maybe. Now, I'm not so sure.
In any case, poor, ol' Werbel boy hasn't moved in quite a while. I had a sinus infection, and I did nearly nothing for a week. I slept—a legendary amount. The first few days were utterly wretched. The last few were just lots of sleeping. Sleep is a magical substance.
In any case, for Meadowvale, I have to rewrite the first 3 chapters, I have to get everyone to read and criticize them, I have to start practicing query letters so I can get rejected at least ten times, I have to get one agent to accept me, I have to have trusted friends read the contract, I have to argue with the agent about trying to keep my rights so that they don't screw me over, I have to accept a sad middle ground, and then I have to write many more books. Whew. Lots to do, but...
BRB!
...two hours later...
I had to play Borderlands 2 with Isaac. It's a beautiful game full of chaos and humor and chaos and creativity.
Back on topic though: Meadowvale. I have a lot to do, but there are a bunch of rational steps in place, and I'm furthering one at a time. It is by no means glamorous, but it's satisfying.
I have to go jot a lot of thoughts down that I don't want to lose!
Toodle-oo!
