Blogger and Webinars
I did a bit of research, and Blogger is going to serve my purposes better. Honestly, I'm relieved: I didn't feel like switching over a whole new set of thingies. I got rid of my old email address (ZadokNauthiz@gmail.com), so I had to transfer calendar, pictures, documents, and way too many other things. At the end it was freeing and worth it, but it was still an ordeal. I wouldn't want to learn a whole new blogging system.
In other news, however, I am encouraged about the blogs that I do have and inspired to discover how to use them better — for myself and for readers. As of right now, I pretty much only post things on Facebook, a popular but clogged medium. I need to learn how to use LinkedIn better as well as Twitter and perhaps any number of other forums (Instagram, Tumblr, etc.).
As I've told a few friends, this in-between state is quite tense, for I am lacking certain safety measures, but I'm really excited about the medium-distance future. My student base is growing—not to mention appreciative of my work. My next big task is figuring out how the blazes I should host webinars. I'm not talking one-at-a-time talks; rather, I want to post my own class structures. In part, I think I have a lot to offer in some of the common areas like math and writing, but I also feel like we are lacking in more rigorous approaches to some skills: poetry is always at the forefront of my mind.
I so want to craft a step-by-step series on poetry: its purpose, its practice, its improvement, and so much more. I already have a makeshift curriculum in the works. I have to do some proper research before I set my hand to crafting it properly though.
So much to do and just the right amount of time. For now, I'm off to tutor.
Huzzah!
