Just A Blurb
I'm feeling distracted, but I think I might always feel distracted. I'm slowly trying to learn how to stop bombarding my own brain with noise (audial, visual, etc.). I've developed the unfortunate habit of watching Netflix most evenings before going to bed. I have a large pile of books that I have to read — even want to read — that are collecting lonely dust.
I have plenty of things in my life that need work, but I think my next big barrier is the curtain of noise. It almost seems strange to recall how much and often I would read. I have been plodding through the same book for close to a year. Last night, I had the advantage of receiving a huge flurry of nasty texts from an individual, so I was inspired to place my phone face down on silent and leave it for the rest of the evening.
I miss books, but I may have gummed up my brain chemistry with screens. It can always be reverted with enough consistency. I'm writing just a smidge more — but never enough of course.
With that being said, I have to go research WordPress to make my blogs more beautiful :D
