Un-Productivity

Do you ever devolve into un-productivity? It's an especially weird zone when you've been productive for most of the day. I did 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6: six or more useful things! (I don't remember them all.) I have one script for a short video. I've been meaning to write a second, but the drain has befallen me. There are a bunch of other tasks that are long-winded ongoing responsibilities, so I can't push them forward just now. So then what? I have reloaded Facebook too many times.

There's this terrible site called ifunny.co. It contains all the memes you see on just about any social media. It is like Meme Central. I have this suspicion that that's where everybody really gets their memes, but then they pretend they found it on their own. Those sneaky, stealing sneaksters!

In other news, I'm also pretty tired. I don't know why. I went to bed at a normal-ish hour for once, and I even slept in! Maybe that was my problem.

GAH! I have to finish Meadowvale. I'm not opposed. I even have chapter outlines for the last few chapters; I just don't feel like doing anything right now. Well! Wait. ...

...

There are a few things I want to do, but they're all impossible right now, so I'm left with a pleasant sleepiness.

In öther news, I recently wrote about my earth elementals. I didn't have a clear picture for that sketch, so it felt kinda wobbly, but it still pulled out some ideas that I've been needing to consider. It made the earthies much more real, and I like them. I think they're nobler than that, but Plumb seems to be stuck in a crummy situation, so he does his best. I like the idea of them having ships too. I usually assumed they were intelligent but technologically indifferent: they wouldn't need ships; they'd just travel on foot or maybe on some futuristic mount. I think I'm just going to have to inch them into reality one quaint sketch at a time until I can really embrace their existence with a whole heart.
