Microphones and Such
I'm feeling distracted, but I usually do at the beginning of a work day.
I just made another comic for my strip United Shapes of Arithmetic. I feel it was weak, but some of them have to be.
I just made a Facebook page for my little tutoring business. I already had a website, so there wasn't much to add, but I look forward to making videos and such. I imagine I could do miniature lessons, read some of my poems or stories, or even share some of my guitar songs. Publicity is the main end, and media are the main means.
I really need to order a microphone for my iPhone. I tried a small video a little while ago, and the sound was just about horrible. I just did a preliminary search for microphone stuff, and it looks rather promising—albeit a tad expensive. I'll have to make another attempt without a microphone to see how necessary it would be. I'm not trying to be hyper-professional just yet with my videos, only audible.
In other news, it's super-warm in Starbucks. During the warm seasons, they refrigerate it like a warm glacier. Right now, it's like a mild sauna.
When? When? Where will I record little videos? I would need a comfortable setting that is also relatively quiet: not a lot of those around.
Someday. Not today; that's ok. I have so many things to do anyway. God is good. I'm learning to rest in His goodness. I was hoping to chat with the community center director today, but there are other avenues of course.
In any case, I think I'm gonna go home and write outside.
