Organizing with a Binder

I got a binder for my student! I had been asking him forever to get a few items that would help him organize his life (a binder, dividers, and loose-leaf paper), but I can understand how intimidating it is to step through barriers like that. I can understand how daunting it is to go from disorganization to organization without any kind of hand-holding.

I think, I hope he will appreciate it and use it effectively. I really do believe in him. However, he, like so many individuals on this funny planet, has probably not had many people believe in him. It's a slow process to retrain that assumption. Baby steps.

In other news, it's a cool day as summers go, but Starbucks is refrigerated.

In other other news, I have a bunch of other thoughts that don't seem worthy of being mentioned.

Toodles.

  1. It hit me reading this. You do have an opportunity to make a profound impact on your students. That is cool.

    1. I'm trying hard! Most of my parents seem to think I am making an impact.
