Videos, Ruts, & Firefly

I am on the verge of making videos! I got some exceedingly great input from a fine, upstanding gentleman named Andrew. Thus, I have ordered the recommended equipment and will be exporting crazy stuff rather soon! Via the same man's input, I also discovered iMovie for free (since I purchased a slightly-new used Mac a little while ago). It's a wonderful program that is very, very approachable. I'm looking forward to beginning a number of projects: education videos, narrating one of my novels, recording my few songs, and a couple other ideas.

Good times.

In other news, I actually sat myself down to figure out what was happening with Meadowvale, and I made great progress. It's crazy what you can do when you stop filling your brain with noise and devote yourself to a task. Boom.

In other other news, nah.

In other^3 news, do you ever get into a rut? My ruts are fewer and farther between, but they still happen, and I'd like to know how to preempt them or at least resolve them sooner and more effectively.

What are some precursors to your ruts?
How/when do you recognize you're in a rut?

Completely random interjection: I had a dream in which I was trying to convince Nathan Fillion to start up Firefly again. He was even amenable to the idea of miraculously bringing Wash back (considering the fact that Wash was killed in the movie). You have no idea how many people would fund that effort up the wazoo.

What steps do you take to undo your rut?
How do you actually escape your rut?

Well, those are all the rambling thoughts I have for today since I have to spout out something for Michael. I haven't posted for that poor gentleman in over two weeks! (AKA, I had been in a rut.)

Toodle-oo!
